Matthew 11:28-30

How many times has the weight of the world swallowed us that we shifted our focus from Jesus and started looking for ways to figure it out ourselves? I mean, could it be possible that we never acknowledged Him in the first place that we are the kings and queens of our own lives? What are we embracing to numb the pain or escape the responsibilities that come with living? Has it reached to a point where it's always about us that this has become a one-sided relationship with God? (As in, we either want to do this life alone, or we want Jesus to be a part of it but don't want to do anything that goes with the cost).

Whether we get it or not, the truth is, all the answers we're looking for will always/only be found in Jesus. Be it anything tangible, intangible, or most importantly, the rest our souls need (this one comes with salvation which guarantees eternity), only can He provide abundantly and permanently.

With so much love, God is inviting us to trust in Him and surrender whatever is weighing us down. His love gives comfort and it eases troubles. By leaning on this truth found in Matthew 11:28-30, we can be still and know that through Jesus, we can find peace and rest, even in the middle of chaos.
